Where are different marine ecosystems found?

The ocean is home to a wide variety of habitats which are vital for the wellbeing of marine species and the health of the planet overall. This gallery shows where they are located. Many diverse species (including humans) rely on these habitats for their survival and as such the preservation of them is of great importance.

Climate change and pollution are the biggest threats to our kelp forests, mangroves and coral reefs.
