Super Science Saturday, Museum of Natural History, Oxford, UK 23 November

Oxford Museum Event

On Super Science Saturday we are teaming up with Nekton Mission to bring AXA XL Submarine STEM activities to life.

Drop by our stand to meet a deep-sea scientist, explore the deep ocean in 360 VR and to put into practice 'working scientifically' skills through fun activities to do at home and in the classroom. Between 2000-3000 people are expected to attend, giving families with KS1 and KS2 students a chance to meet real scientists and find out what’s been going on in the oceans over millions of years.

The event is a biannual science fair where families can come along and learn a bit more about what scientists do and why. With over 15 activity stands live from 12-4 pm, visitors can attend the event in a drop-in manner and will be able to walk through the museum space and approach stands as they wish. At the front of the museum's welcome desk, they will be briefed on the day's offerings upon arrival. The event is a great bonus for parents and adults as it gives them an opportunity to engage as a family.

Join us at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on the 23rd of November for a day of fun submarine science activities and inspire STEM careers in your class or at home.
