CNN: Forging connections with students in Syria

A CNN report report featured the exchange between students at London's Oaklands School and their peers from the UNRWA Palestine School in Damascus.

At first, they don’t seem that different, but it’s soon clear that their daily lives have little in common, the report goes. Students in Syria discuss about the problems of forced marriages, school dropouts and lack of security.

The project My Voice-My School created by Encounter Edu (Digital Explorer) with UNRWA has helped these young people speak out about their problems and advocate for the right to education for all, wherever they are.
