Submarine STEM 2020 offers students a fresh way to learn about the deep ocean and life around it while exploring the physics of submersible exploration and inspiring STEM careers. The lessons will be hosted from the expedition research vessel, with potential links to the DSV Limiting Factor, the first and only manned-submersible certified to dive to the deepest point in the ocean.

Broadcasting from the Nekton | First Descent expedition operating off the Maldives and Seychelles, this week-long live event comprising of 10 live lessons from 23rd to 27th March will focus on submarine science, exploration, and conservation.

Submarine STEM is supported by free curriculum-aligned teacher resources, STEAM activities, multimedia and subject updates to build knowledge and integrate virtual learning with homes and classrooms worldwide.
