Virtual exchange training

This course will introduce teachers to running virtual exchange programmes in their classrooms, using the model of My Voice-My School. My Voice-My School is the virtual exchange programme, created with UNRWA, that connected refugee classes in Syria, Gaza and Lebanon with their peers in North America and Europe. Participants will learn how to teach all the lessons and also to use the technology needed to implement in their schools.

  • Introduction to the project and context
  • Developing student-centric techniques
  • Confidence in implementing the MVMS lessons
  • Confidence in using ’edtech’ effectively in the classroom
Prerequisites

The course requires no previous experience of working with virtual exchange programmes.

Target participants

This course is aimed both at teachers looking to deliver My Voice-My School and educators and teachers more widely interested in designing and implementing virtual exchange in their classrooms.
