Virtual exchange course

A 2-day course supporting teachers to deliver effective virtual exchange programs for all ages. This course uses the My Voice-My School virtual exchange program as a model for teaching.

This course will introduce teachers to running virtual exchange programs in their classrooms, using the model of My Voice-My School. My Voice-My School is the virtual exchange program, created with UNRWA, that connected refugee classes in Syria, Gaza and Lebanon with their peers in North America and Europe. Participants will work through the organisational, technical, safety and pedagogical aspects of running a virtual exchange program.

My Voice-My School focuses on the shared experience of education in both partner schools. This topic was chosen as it is echoed in UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education, and it does not create a sense of one school studying a worse-off partner.
