Starting with a question, the UNRIC piece shared Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, and Swedish media asks, “What do young people in Bergen, Norway, and youth in Damascus have in common?” The answer is the common desire for quality education.
The piece explores the important role education plays for refugees who brandish it as a fundamental human right which they can hold onto amid mass loss. Exploring this right under the new 2030 global goals, 12 students in Norway embarked on the My Voice School project connecting them online to refugee peers in Syria.
