The fourth-grade students of the Royal Atheneum Koekelberg were given the opportunity to meet the students of a UNRWA school for refugees from Gaza via Skype. This video call was part of the My-Voice My-School project and was the final part of the collaboration between the two schools. The pupils not only got the chance to consult and think about quality education, but also to actually make improvements in their own school. Both the students from Gaza and the students from Brussels agreed that this collaboration was very successful and, to their surprise, found that they actually looked more alike than they had previously thought…
