Visit a penguin colony to find out how these wonderful birds have adapted to the chilly conditions of the Antarctic.

You can try the experiment at home or at school. Just collect different feathers and see how they react to having water sprayed or dropped on them. For down feathers ask an adult if you can have feathers from a pillow or duvet.
