Polar Explorer Programme, London-York, UK, 11-12 July

Join us at our founder’s talk during the Polar Exploration Programme taking place at 10.45 am on 11th July at the Institute of Physics in London and then on 12th at the National STEM Learning Centre at the University of York. The theme of the event is celebrating the work that schools have done on the Polar Explorer programme and pointing them towards how they can keep polar involvement relevant and engaging.

We will talk about the impact that our resources and activity books have had within the STEM learning community and how schools can benefit from initiatives such as the Encounter Lives. Focusing on innovation in education and what the future of polar exploration awareness looks like for us, we aim to involve more educators in this discussion in light of climate change.

Apart from being our close associate and a great knowledge network, STEM Learning UK is the largest provider of education and careers support in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
