On March 16th and 17th, Avgouleas-Linardatou Schools is hosting the education conference "Peak Technologies in Educational Practice" where Encounter Edu founder, Jamie Buchanan-Dunlop will be speaking the journey of connecting ed to tech.

"As an ex-teacher, I will share my story about how I came to use remote field broadcasting and virtual field trips to inspire students through linking bringing global issues like climate change, refugees, artificial intelligence and computing to the classroom ”, says Buchanan-Dunlop.

The 10th anniversary of the conference coincides with Avgoulea-Linardatou Schools 70th birthday. Avgoulea_Linardatou Schools recognized for innovation due to integrating technologies in education, will for the first time be hosting the event as a Microsoft Showcase School event.

The conference aimed to primary and secondary schools as well as to tertiary education and colleges. It is focused on introducing and using technology in education practices will take place at educational institute. In addition to bringing in speakers from abroad, the event will be comprised of workshops to attend.
