Nekton is a not-for-profit research foundation, working with the University of Oxford and a wide range of partners to accelerate the scientific exploration and protection of the ocean. In line with the 30x30 target, Nekton aims to highly protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030.

In collaboration with Encounter Edu, Nekton has developed the Submarine STEM education programme, as well as the Submarine Live events from submersible-based expeditions.
