Common Seas believes that an ocean free from plastic is critical to our health and the health of our planet. Working with a broad coalition of educators, scientists and industry, we want every child to understand the issue of marine plastic pollution and how they can be part of a plastic waste free future.
Common Seas has worked with partners to create a set of universal Ocean Plastics Learning Objectives, utilising the frameworks developed by UNESCO and those working for Ocean Literacy.
Common Seas works with a range of programme partners to ensure that the Ocean Plastics Academy resources are scientifically robust, educationally relevant and ensure that education for a plastic waste free future becomes mainstream.
